Mike Polci

Mike is a member of the trombone section of Orchestra London Canada and he works regularly with the Orchestras of Hamilton, Kitchener and Windsor. He studied trombone with Joseph Castello at the University of Western Ontario. He has also performed with the Canadian Opera Company and the National Ballet of Canada. Mike has performed in many theatrical productions and Broadway shows over the years including many performances with the Stratford and Shaw Festivals.

He has a great love for all kinds of jazz music and is the leader of the Dixie Dawgs jazz combo. Over the years Mike has been thrilled and fortunate enough to have worked with great entertainers such Diana Krall, Ray Charles, The Temptations, The Supremes and the Four Tops, among others.

Mike is currently the instructor of Low Brass at McMaster University and Mohawk College.
